Shipping policy

At Gifts of Distinction, we take great care to ensure your gift arrives beautifully presented and on time. Please review our shipping policy below for important information regarding delivery timeframes and processes.

Processing Time

All orders are carefully curated and prepared within 1–2 business days. During peak periods (including holidays and promotional events), processing times may be slightly extended. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been dispatched.

Shipping Destinations

We currently ship within New Zealand. For bespoke, bulk, or corporate gifting enquiries requiring special arrangements, please contact us directly.

Delivery Timeframes

Once dispatched, standard delivery timeframes are estimated as follows:

  • Urban areas: 1–3 business days

  • Rural areas: 2–5 business days

Please note that delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays, weather conditions, or seasonal demand.

Shipping Fees

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and order size. Any applicable shipping charges will be clearly displayed prior to payment.

Authority to Leave

Unless otherwise specified, orders are dispatched with Signature Required. Gifts of Distinction cannot accept responsibility for parcels once they have been delivered to the nominated address.

Delivery Accuracy

Please ensure all delivery details are correct at the time of ordering. Gifts of Distinction cannot be held responsible for delays or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

Damaged or Missing Items

While we take every care in packaging your order, if your gift arrives damaged or incomplete, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Photographic evidence may be requested to assist us in resolving the issue with our courier provider.

Special Delivery Requests

If you have a specific delivery date or special instructions (including event or settlement gifting), please include these notes at checkout or contact us directly prior to placing your order. While we will always do our best to accommodate requests, delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.
