A Language We All Speak

Love between people is a compelling emotion which cannot be controlled.  It has the power to change one’s life forever. It can make fools of us or make us feel as though we are on the bow of the Titanic with our face confidently to the wind. 

We experience the sense of a great love from the all-time classic tale of Romeo and Juliet, who tragically died, to modern day romances that transport us on a journey of self-discovery. Love, L’amore, Amor, whichever way you speak it, this is a language we all know.

Like many of the fairer sex, I cry each time I watch Wuthering Heights or The Notebook.  The effects of love are vastly different in these stories, but one thing remains true, love has power to move us in inexplicable ways! 

We may never have to die for love, such as with the sad tale of Romeo and Juliet, but to live for love, oh how good that is!
